Scripps Gerontology Center

Research

In support of our mission to generate and disseminate knowledge that helps to understand aging, Scripps Gerontology Center has a broad research agenda. Current research includes health, disability, and longevity; long-term care systems and services; workforce issues; caregiving; and demography. The Center assists faculty and students with research proposals and projects related to aging and awards several graduate research assistantships each year.

In addition, Scripps Gerontology Center provides high quality applied
research to legislators, public administrators, planners, service
providers, gerontology students, and the general public.
