Welcome to Scripps Gerontology Center’s website. This site is intended as a resource for students, researchers, consumers, policy makers, and the general public who are interested in long-term care, aging/disability and other aging related health issues.

Scripps Gerontology Center is a research institution dedicated to generating and disseminating multidisciplinary aging related knowledge. Descriptions of Scripps current research projects, profiles of staff, contact information, and a calendar of workshops and events are available in these pages. Many of our publications are available in a downloadable or printable format on this site.

Scripps administers Miami University’s Academic Programs in Gerontology, which are offered through the Department of Sociology and Gerontology. Descriptions of the gerontological programs, course offerings, registration and application information, and convenient links are also included within these pages.
