Welcome to Scripps Gerontology Center’s website. This site is intended as a resource for students, researchers, consumers, policy makers, and the general public who are interested in long-term care, aging/disability and other aging related health issues.

Scripps Gerontology Center is a research institution dedicated to generating and disseminating multidisciplinary aging related knowledge. Descriptions of Scripps current research projects, profiles of staff, contact information, and a calendar of workshops and events are available in these pages. Many of our publications are available in a downloadable or printable format on this site.

Scripps administers Miami University’s Academic Programs in Gerontology, which the Dept. of Sociology & Gerontology offers. Descriptions of the gerontological programs, course offerings, registration and application information, and convenient links are also included within these pages.
