Malinda Deacon is from Waverly, Ohio. She is a Registered Nurse, and licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Malinda has a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Ohio University, and previously worked as the Community Services Supervisor at Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging. Her research interests include the long-term care system, senior programs and services, and health policy. Malinda is very happy to be a student in the Ph.D. Program in Social Gerontology.
